Redemption Church Planting is a dynamic church planting movement with a vision to establish a thriving community of faith in Pensacola, Florida. Our passion is to spread the message of hope and redemption through Christ to the local community and beyond. We are committed to cultivating an environment where individuals and families can experience the love of God and grow in their spiritual journey.
LeAD Planter
Rob Jones
Pastor Rob serves as the lead planter for Redemption Church Planting. He has served in the ministry since 2019. He has pastored two other churches and served as interim pastor at another in both Mississippi and Louisiana. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from Blue Mountain Christian University and a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to ministry, he served five years in the United States Marine Corps. and owned and operated a vegetable farm for several years after that. Rob is married to Jordan and together they have four children, Reagan, Millie, Lauren, and Eli.
Advisory Team
Dr. Shane Crawford
Dr. Crawford serves as the Senior Pastor of Sylva Rena Baptist Church in Water Valley, Mississippi. He is the sending church pastor for Redemption Church.
Jay Parks
Jay currently serves as Director of Pastor Training Schools for Church Missions Network. Jay is also a former Church Planter with the North American Mission Board.
Dr. Ronald Meeks
Dr. Meeks currently serves as Department Chair and Professor of Biblical Studies at Blue Mountain Christian University. He also serves as Director of Church Relations and Ministerial Recruiting.
Dr. Roger Stacy
Dr. Stacy has served as an IMB Missionary to both Brazil and Ukraine. He has also served as a church planter in Utah as well as Associational Missions Strategist in Tennessee.
